I think Azealia and Rita are the only people from the OP who have a chance tbh.

Bonnie McKee is the obvious choice to follow in the footsteps of Katy/Ke$ha... if she ever manages to get her god damn album finished.

Out of the girls who are actually gearing for a release...
Lana Del Rey and Neon Hitch are the most surefire bets. Azealia Banks will likely gain a decent sized following. I see Ellie gaining quite a bit more popularity in the US. Cher Lloyd is a maybe.

Dia Frampton has a chance to really get the ball-rolling once she returns to The Voice for a performance of one of her own songs. Don't Kick The Chair/Billy The Kid/Walk Away all really have a big chance at becoming slowburner hits, as does her current single The Broken Ones.


All of these other girls are (sadly) non-factors.

Lana will have a big opening album. Mostly because sales are terrible right now and there's not much competition.

I think Emili Sande will break big this year too. The others I have no idea. Depends on what breaks they get but most will fail in the US.

Sarah is a it or miss tbh. Sometimes she's good, soemtimes shes She's aiming for a dance record we'll see how she does.

I think Ariana just needs more promo. Her voice is amazing and PYHU is catchy.

I hope Lana breaks out...she really deserves to be recongized for her talent.

Azealia's '212' is the only song I listen to of hers. If she keeps making songs with that style, then I think she might breakthough.

It opened at #103 with about 10k, which would be enough for like a #30 debut at this time of year. They just released her at a time with too much competition. I really do think a return performance to The Voice would do wonders for her, let us not forget she landed a #1 song on ITunes with that show.

I think most of them have a good chance at some sort of success,
but I don't see them having as much as the breakout stars from last year did.
I personally think Rita, Lana, and Ms. Banks have the most potential.

I think 2NE1 has a decent chance.

They already have a flourishing international Stanbase due to their
presence in k-pop.

Also, they're teaming up with will.i.am on their debut American album.
As much as he may fail to get hits for himself, he has been known for making some for others and decent collaborations of his own (OMG, Check it out, etc).

Also, This group is different without being too far off from what we're familiar with.
They're not your traditionally cute Kpop girl group.
