That's because black people are responsible for most of the popular genres we see today. They were popular even when they were still segregated (and worse).
this! black folks always start the new music trends and all else follow. currently: trap music. mean while, a certain group of people flat out steals every genre that they feel like taking and claim them as their own .
********, you're attempting to build the narrative that 'becky' when directed at a white person does something other than point out their privileged status. That argument does not stand. But hey, white people reallllly want to feel like their being persecuted or that it's anywhere near the level of society's toxic behaviour towards the lives of racial minorities.

How does Becky point out their privileged status? Lmao. Becky is easily associated with the basic white girl stereotype, and calling someone a basic white girl whilst very low in offensiveness is still an insult and thus not very nice. IDK why y'all are desperate to have terms like this and cracker/mayo etc considered mainstream and acceptable because they're just insults end of story
Wow, someone standing for racial equality in 2016?! There's still hope left for the world.
Black people have life more difficult than white people. It doesn't mean everybody should be nasty to white people to "balance it out". It's ridiculous.
To be honest, I don't really care about white girls getting called "Becky". It's not that big a deal, it's the double standard that annoys me more because I support equal treatment of all humans regardless of the color of their skin.
Just call people by their name? Is it that hard? If you don't appreciate being called Shaniqua don't turn around hollering Becky to someone else, both are disrespectful generalizations and just as I don't have the right to speak on what is hurtful to you, you do not have the right to speak on what is hurtful to me.

Alright, Rebecca. I hope you take some comfort in knowing that your views on race and language are being supported by noted civil rights leader Iggy Azalea.

The SJWs have a different way of thinking to everybody else. They believe the world is made of oppressors and the oppressed. They are obsessed with what categories people fit into. They are constantly arguing amongst each other over who is the most oppressed, and when they introduce themselves to new people they literally just say their name and list out all the categories they fit into. Normal people say their name, then briefly share what they study or do as a job and a few of their hobbies and interests for example, but for SJWs their whole lives revolve around the categories they're in. It wasn't like this a few years ago, I'm so confused as to where this mentality came from.
They're so desperate to make it acceptable to insult white people because they think people who are in the white category are superior to other races and they want to balance it out by making it acceptable to insult them. I think their idea is that they can knock the confidence of white girls so that they feel miserable and guilty to the point that they don't succeed in life, but I don't think it will work tbh. They will be trying more extreme measures in a few years.
It's funny because a lot of them seem absolutely miserable and furious. I'm sure they were a lot happier a few years ago. I know I am happier than them even though they claim I'm oppressed because I fit into some of the oppressed categories.
