I was really excited about this one, but I thought that it could be a little better. I don't know, the song ended up getting a little too happy. But the performance on TV was great, the cast remembering some old performances. |  | #34 Bootylicious

I've never heard this song before, actually I've never heard most of the songs that came from a Musical, but this is such an energetic and powerful song with great vocals from Lea that it's impossible to not like it. It kinda reminds me of the Big Band Era songs. |  | #32 Defying Gravity

I used to hate this song, but I started to love it after listening to it against my will, on TV shows for example. The Glee version of this song is so energetic and cheerful, I just love the final result. Oh, and it never hurts to see Lauren from So You Think You Can Dance (Season 3) dancing on TV. |

Their rendition of Defying Gravity was so heartfelt. The MLWSWY, Mercy, and Bootylicious performances displayed a lot of showmanship from the actors. Glee is really a great show to watch; it's so entertaining. ^__^

It was great to listen to Kevin McHale's voice, it's very soulful and has a great tone to it, no wonder why he's being featured more often in group songs. The change of the beat for this song was key for me to like it, it was really creative and relaxing, I had more fun listening to this version than the original. |  | #29 Bust a Move

One of the greatest ballads of all time in a beautiful rendition. On TV Matthew's funny faces were extremely distracting from the song, it was impossible to pay attention to it, thank God for the studio version, because you can feel the deep emotions of the song. |  | #27 Jump

I know I've been saying the word a lot but I can't avoid it on this song, but the performance of Jump was lots of FUN, lol, I love trampolines, they are the best. I can't help but love the tracks that make me feel nostalgic, just the intro of the song won me over. |  | #26 No Air

I'll get bashed for not putting this on top 10, but I just can't, and I think it's because I love the original way too much to really like this version. It was emotional to see the kids from New Directions performing this for Quinn & Finn, but this was overshadowed by "Keep Holding On", it had the same concept and the same kind of vocals, but I like KHO better as a ballad, that's probably the main reason for this to be lower. |  | #22 Proud Mary

I never thought that the main cast would perform a song in weelchairs, it was corny and cheesy but very enjoyable, and of course, Amber's vocals were great once again. Original Artist: The Police / Gary Puckett & The Union Gap
Another song over-performed from Matthew, but this one is compensated by a great fit on the vocals and an even better merge of songs. These are two pieces that I never pictured together but it worked flawlessly, and of course, more nostalgic images come to ming when I listen to this, but sadly not only these images but also images of Matthew climbing the piano, I still can't get why he did that. |
