The data is good data, they get their info from the same sources that Nielsen use:

She's confirmed to do 1.9m in the US in two days, 300k in the UK in one day, so just between those two we're already at 2.2m That's without the SNL boost, without Australia and the rest of the world, and without the rest of Adele's promo for this week
Was that US or worldwide? You guys are forgetting digital sales... it seems that she's selling more digital copies than physical copies so she's fine.
But the problem is that the Target exclusive can't be sold in digital form!! Those that want the bonus track won't be heading on over to itunes or amazon.
