I agree that some of you bring Velvelt Rope, Ray Of Light, Butterfly since there were released before 2000 and hence we can't know their metacritics marks. BUT I can't stand some of you citing impact-less albums (i wont say no names). AALIYAH is the only album that comes close to BEYONCE epicness & ahead-of-its-time teas.

It definitely is there with Beyonce in regard of being ahead of its time, but for me personally, it's so much better.

Interesting how you guys gathered all the critics??? didnt you know that on Wikipedia mostly the best critics are represented plus one or two mixed critics to balance + LIKE A PRAYER is not MADGE best abum (it would be EROTICA or RAY OF LIGHT) so no

every song on the album is relevant to her personal life & then the rest are social statements
also there is a full music video for every single song
also it was produced & released through her own company
oh and it wasn't announced either
sure b'day, iasf..or even 4 may be easier to bop to but does that make them better albums/bodies of work? hell no
