Cultural Appropriation is just a (stupid) concept that allows stupid people to feel smart, as if they know something about anything.

Every other person with a brain knows that cultures do not exist in a vacuum. Whenever humans or their manifestations cross paths, there's going to be an exchange, and it's been that way since the beginning of time.

I understand why people are upset but I must say I like how she handled the situation and I don't think the braids look terrible on her.

I'm usually on the side of bringing awareness and blah blah blah, but the people who took issue with it are doing the mosT I could understand if she left some ignorant caption like "now I'm not Sarah, but Sarqueeshia!" (which is what I was expecting coming into the thread ) but if she just likes the hairstyle and hasn't been disrespectful about it I see no issue. This is where people start to make the cause they fight for look like a joke.
