I guess it comes down to your own interpretation of your religion at the end of the day, if you interpret god as loving you no matter what (which should be the case) then for sure you can be gay and religious. Your interpretation is just as valid as anyone elses, and everyone seems to have their own nowadays

You should choose to love whomever you love and practice the religion that you feel comfortable with, if it betters your life. If you want to have a relationship with God, go for it. Some Native Americans believe that gay people are closer to god as they contain two souls.
You can be a gay Christian, you can be a straight Christian. God loves all and if he really hated the gays, we wouldn't be here. He could snap his fingers and just be, "Nope. Don't want you."

IMO alot of gay (especially the teens/early 20's) are kinda pissed at the fact that no Abrahamic religion accepts them and some choose to pretend their atheists but in the end and usually in the late 20's they go back to their religions because they believe in them and god. This is what I have witnessed

You'll go to hell if you ACT on it.
you don't know if someone is going to hell or not, that is god's decision.
maybe a heterosexual person will go to hell and a homosexual is going to heaven? who really knows.

No you're not.
Someone who knows something about the religions please correct me.
But dont they all say that even the sinners will end up in heaven? Might be in hell for a bit but eventually heaven.

I didn't mean to offend you, I just mean that everybody sins. I'm not forcing my views, I'm just saying that in a religion like Christianity where homosexuality is considered a sin, you just have to know that God still loves you just like He still loves liars, cheaters, thieves, etc.

Religion is for YOU, the individual, and YOUR bond with whatever God it is your religion has.
It's not about every single word that's written in an age old book.
If you're gay and you find strenght and power in that bond who the **** are other gays to tell that person they're 'hypocrites' and they should stop.
Ugh.

Yes I forgot that point, you get punished for the sins first and then go to heaven. (in Islam at least)

Yes, In a way...
"A man came to the Prophet peace be upon him and asked, 'When will the day of judgment come?' The Prophet peace be upon him replied, 'What have you prepared for the judgment day that you are so concerned for it?' He replied, 'I do not have any good deeds in my account, but I do have one thing: I love Allah and His Messenger peace be upon him.' The Prophet peace be upon him then said, 'In that case, do not worry; you will be with those whom you love.'"

Look at it this way, Everyone is a sinner. So yes one can, Jesus ate with prostitutes and tax collectors, who in his time were considered social outcasts.

Gurls, being gay is TABOO in Islam.
I said maybe you will make up for it will other good deeds, and I never said you're going to hell ETERNALLY. You may go there until you pay for your sins, then you go to heaven, or maybe God will forgive you if you repent.
