Overall Gaga did better. She basically had acclaim, tour, sales, single and GP on lock. One thing I would love to point out tho is that Katy on the pink cloud pic will probably end up being an iconic picture for her.
Is 14 (or 15 ) times platinum the real number for TFM (worldwide)? Wikipedia says that but Wikipedia will say anything it just seems so massive a total for an electronic pop album.
Hmm it's difficult to answer for me. TFM has an advantage because the fame n the fame monster were sold desperately and together. Teenage dream on the other hand was just re-released as a deluxe. I think if katy released a seperate 8track album her album sales would be bigger. I mean TD is what 7 mill WW imagine if she had released a seperate 8 track album if probably would've gone 5 mill WW. Add both and it'll be around 12WW. Which is much closer to gagas album sales.
But despite that I'll go with gaga although Katy is not to far behind.

We all know that if Gaga had a BB #1 single that her back catalogue would be selling better. She's not even in the top 100 on iTunes + BR, Poker Face and Just Dance are older than Firework.
I don't see the connection between Bad Romace and Halloween? I guess it sounds sort of scary at the beginning but I never associated that motif with it.
