Alison Kraus (my other queen) is the Queen of Bluegrass, while Emmylou Harris is the Queen of Americana/Alt-Country. And Reba, according to what I know, has always been taking the back seat to Dolly Parton, no?

obviously you haven't heard "Wine After Whiskey"  or "Cupids God A Shotgun" Both are more country than anything Taylor has ever released

Right? For years we have heard the same old tired arguments from Carrie-fans about Taylor`s music being too pop for country. Now that "Good Girl" and "Blown Away" are out and are maybe even more pop than Tay`s efforts in the past.....i wonder what is their stand on this?

The only pop song is Blown Away, but it's still cointain country element. What about Tay? 80% of her album are pop :toofunn

If you've actually listened to Blown Away the album you'd realize that only Good Girl, Blown Away, Two Black Cadillacs, See You Again and Who Are You are the only non country songs on the album.
The rest of the album is the country sound - Even then Two Black Cadillacs and Good Girl have more elements that make them country than pop.
