Britney will join Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Rihanna, Macklemore, Ryan Lewis, Justin Timberlake, P!nk and Psy with Ooh La La. and possibly Drake if her lead single is released this year. actually she might lead the top 10s of this year like 2011, if they release her second single 2 months after the lead like Circus
It's been a nice surprise having Pharrell getting hits again. The Neptunes made so many of my favourite songs when I was younger.
I hope Drake can stay in the lead the whole year though. I still hope No New Friends can make it, but it hasn't been climbing on airplay as fast as I expected, considering who's involved.
I thought it'd be interesting to do a breakdown of all the artists who've hit the top ten by national origin. Here's what I came up with.

As you can see, most of what makes it to the upper regions of the chart are songs by American artists. And the bolded artists are those who've reached number one. As you can see, so far, ALL of them are American.
And well... While I do hope other people might find this as interesting as I do, at the end of the day, I just did it for fun.
