My best friend is a straight male. I'm his BFF too. All my male friends are straight. All my female friends are straight. I'd say I have an equal proportion of male/female friends. Starting college this past September introduced me to a lot of gays and lesbians and I honestly could not get along with these in particular. I would like to have gay friends but every thing that comes out of these people's mouths involve their sexuality to some extent it seems. It's annoying, I don't my my sexual preference to be the topic of every single conversation. I tried to talk to them, and Ive met a few gay male acquaintances I feel I could get close to but I haven't.

The same happens to me, this year I've known a lot of gays and they're so ****ing annoying, like, I can't even make friends with them.
Most of my friends are girls, and I have like 4 close gay friends and that's it.
All of my friends are straight, and none of them know I'm bi and it's just extremely painful cause they're very good looking. I've fantasized over some of them for YEARS.
I'm fairly easy to be friends with so as I don't have a lot of gay friends I do have them however most of my friends are straight dudes. Apparently, I can't be friends with a straight woman unless I'm trying to bone her...

Uh, my best friend is straight. I don't care for him in that way, tho, I did once when we were teenagers and that's because I didn't know any gay guys. Anyway, he knows I'm gay and couldn't care less. Other than him, most of the guys I hang out with are straight. I don't get the obsession with them here, tho.
Most of my friends are straight, id like some Lesbian friends too. A lot of Gay guys ive met are really bitchy, especially the ones at school who i wanted to kill
not most of you shaking your heada at how people on here generalize straight males and then go on to say how IRL you don't want gay male friends because they're too whiny/drama queens.
Thank you for speaking my mind, people are people...
And these one is a comment I can relate to

I'm glad I've grown out of the stage where I place any value on how many straight friends I have.
