I would be surprised as hell if Vanessa makes a song with lyrics comparable to Long Way 2 Go or Me & U. Again, it's the Disney thing holding her down. She is very limited in what she sings because of the extreme low of her listeners. She can't sing songs with guy-bashing lyrics because it's simply not what Disney puts out there (Someone mentioned that Disney does not support Play With Fire. I think this is the reason why, besides Hilary having absolutely no connection to Disney anymore).

I'm interested in hearing a mashup of Vanessa's voice onto the beat of either Me & U or Long Way 2 Go... just to see if there could actually be some hope of Vanessa one day breaking out of the Disney Safety Zone.

Oh really? I haven't seen TRL lately due to the time, so I don't see all the interviews.

But she did say that her music is the opposite of HSM. Which is true, since the numbers in a musical are not general commercial singles. I still think her music is influenced by Disney. Isn't her record label Warner Bros.? I think that's where most Disney artists are signed.
