The radio support is very worrying indeed. I think it will have a slightly higher AI than MKIA. All of the pop song's AI slow down noticeably and luckily enough Stronger was able to pull big numbers. I still don't know how Dark Side will fair tbh..
I don't see why "Dark Side" can't accumulate a large A.I like "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" if it climbs CHR/Pop, Hot AC, and AC at the same time.
I can 100% tell you it will outpeak "Mr. Know It All", and by a fair amount.
I'm not worried about DS's radio support at all... It's production is similar to WDKY, there is no reason it won't be able to match its success. I think it has the potential to do even better, or at the very least achieve even greater longevity.
I'm guessing this should also hit 100 million AI. I don't see any reason why POP and HAC won't love this. AC might even jump on board faster than it did for Stronger.
Dark Side is WAY more fitting for rhythmic than Let Me Down. Neither will be huge there, but with WDKY opening up the potential for some airplay now, DS is a much more sensible follow-up to continue that momentum.
This song will be so massive on HAC, especially with Stronger AND Mr. Know It All hitting #1 there. It's different, so I'm not sure about pop, but I'll stay positive. I really think she deserves a Grammy for it.
