Sorry, but what starstruck said is sort of true, people are hanging this over Chris' head more because he hit one of the biggest pop stars at the moment. People are obviously going to care more if it's someone like Rihanna where more than half of the people in the US are a fan of her.

He should have been able to come back, he's not the first singer to do something bad or shady.

You're right to a certain extent... but his music wasn't really all that great...
"Graffiti" is weak but I doubt that was the biggest issue, the main reason he flopped is because he made people hate him. Interview after interview he ****ed himself over more than the next because whenever he opened his mouth he was always saying something dumb which caused even more public backlash. It's more than just the music people don't like, it's him in general.
He could and should have been able comeback from all this had he just laid low for awhile and get a better PR team but he really killed pretty much all chance of public redemption....
Trey Songz can't replace Breezy. They're nothing similar in music and their ages are too far apart.

Trey will never make world wide hits as Fistopher did but he filled that void that the tweeny boppers were missing
but his album was really dissapointing, ICTY was boring 
he should take a break and then come back strong.
