I've zero knowledge about politics but people around me were saying if something is going to happen between US-Syria, Cyprus will be affected too.
Edit: Okay, I've read some articles saying that if US is going to attack, Cyprus is one of the countries that will be used as a military base which will mark us as target I believe.
I feel that President Obama has put Congress in such a corner. It would be totally inadmissible for them not to back him in such a move. This is different to Iraq bc we know and can see what is occurring in Syria, unlike the phantom WMD's Bush was citing.
