Not sure if anyone saw, but CNN was just interviewing someone from the Grammys, and he said they have talked to Jennifer Hudson about performing one of her songs. He said it won't be a tribute since it's too soon for that, but they want Jennifer to just sing one of her songs.
I can't believe Whitney is gone This is definitely much too soon.
They should just tribute her at another time. They can still have a one performance in her honor and Im sure she will get mentioned during acceptance species. But in the interest of the viewers and the people who are really looking forward to an happy event, Clive Davis and whoever should just honor with her own tribute and air it on MTV or something. A star studded tribute that has time, effort and respect embedded in it.
It's actually hard to tribute whitney due to the epicness of high notes and caliber of her as a vocal performer.
Although beyonce can pull a greatest love of all, adele with i will always love you, kelly for i have nothing and carrie for saving all my love for you.
It would be interesting if Dolly Parton paid tribute. I mean granted Whitney sung her song, but I Will Always Love You was originally Dolly Parton's song.
It would be amazing to have Mariah Carey do it. But if she can't (and I'm sure she won't), I would love a DUET between Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson.
They should get people who were in the top with her... from her generation! I ain't here for Gaga, Jennifer Hudson, etc... they should do good but I need those legends to praise her!
