I know but the re-release gave it a good boost, before it they were like 100k distant! I'm not saying R-Rs are bad and I love Katy but I can't stand this useless shade!

I hope Carrie really gets some more, bigger, promotion or releases a new single soon. I can't at Blown Away dropping so much.

It wasn't, at least not for sure. They was a more than 100K difference and they were selling roughly the same amount weekly. If she still hasn't oustold it with a further number one single/radio smash, numerous high-profile promo spots (Grammys, American Idol and others) and a re-release, she wouldn't have done it not ending the era.
BTW has still sold more at the moment without a re-release.

Just wait till Blown Away is released, look at the single's sales, over 100k in 2 weeks. It's gonna be huge. It's a song that sells an album, much more so then Good Girl I think..

Teenage Dream was selling a good bit over 5k and BTW wasn't. It would have eventually passed it even without the re-release.
