She was a songwriter, she was part of writing camps that worked closely with those rappers and other producers/writers + she's got a great personality and is fun to work with.

This. It will give Yo Gotti great exposure. Also Meghan has a great personality and people love working with her. Yo Gotti loved working with her because she made time to sit with him in the studio and write. It was real unlike some collabs who record their stuff separately and never see each other.
