Last year was the first season that I watched the whole way through while it was going on. I think people kinda like having people they know compete. That's how I felt (I watched seasons 8, 11, and 12 on youtube before so I knew the returning guests)

Big Brother 14 has a super villain coming too, a newbie guaranteed to keep you entertained, oh my my!!! Forget Colton, Alex, this guy, wow!!

So bascially 4 groups of 4 + 4 mentors = 20 houseguests, 16 newbies, 4 returnees, if these rumors are true.

I'm wondering this too.

I figure they'd be protected in some way early on if they are playing the game. I dunno how it could work if they were just consultants, and I doubt BB wouldn't take full advantage of them.

I have a feeling the mentors aren't really "mentors" rather spies. Like, they'll go around and act as if they're mentors until maybe the 3rd week, then here comes Julie on that Thursday.

Jun recently tweeted about people coming back again. And Janelle suspiciously disappeared off twitter saying she's going to Greece for the summer.

Doesn't Janelle have a newborn? Seems unlikely. I'd like to see Dan as one of the mentors, he'd be perfect.

Now you know Rachel and Jessie will more than likely be "mentors". Hopefully, Dani is one as well.

Didn't Janelle say she wouldn't go back unless Howie returned with her? And she just had a kid. Though she is probably the most in-demand and loved by BB hardcore fans (second to maybe Will?), so CBS may be pulling all the stops to get her to come back.

I seriously hope Rachel doesn't come back as a full time player/mentor. I love her and I have since the start, but three seasons in a row of any competitor is too much. Bring her back for All Stars 2.

If they make Jeff or Jordan mentors...

Evel Dick will be back if they bring back players. They need to make up for last season.

I've heard those rumors & I just don't see it happening. I know CBS is cheap when it comes to BB but they wouldn't reuse the same concept again, would they?!?!
I think its gonna be 100% Newbies.

More Rumors

Rumor 1: Big Brother 14 will consist of 14 newbies split into 2 teams of 7. The 4 Big Surprises will be 4 veteran players, with 2 on each team as captain and co-captain...This brings the starting HG body count to 18, fulfilling the promise of most HGs ever.

Rumor 2: Big Brother 14 will consist of all Big Brother newbies, but include one or more Survivor Alumni. The name being tossed around the rumor mill most is Survivor's Ultimate Villain, Russell Hantz. Why not? He'd probably be incredible for ratings, bringing in a Survivor cross-over audience, and he's a shoe in to out evil Evel just by being himself.

Rumor 3: There will be more than 1 double elimination. This one just seems logical. With more bodies in the house than ever, they're gonna have to get rid of a couple of them quicker, so Big Brother can end before the CBS fall line-up begins.

I don't like rumor 3. I hate double eliminations, in general, so having more than one would just be disastrous. I like rumor 1 the best, though.

I like the double elimination episodes. They usually add new life to the second half of the season just when needed. Anyways, if we have more house guests and the same amount of play time, isn't an extra DE episode a given?

I don't like the idea of Survivor people crossing over. Just cast brand new interesting people, CBS.

I'm not making a thread for it, but if anyone hasn't caught the 2nd episode of 'The Glass House' then avoid it at all cost. I, unfortunately, watched it last night and neither the concept nor the cast has gotten any better. The guy who tried to be the villain, though, was eliminated if anyone wanted to know.

Its not that bad. I'm sure BB1 wasn't flawless.
I actually enjoy the 2nd episode. Alex was an ass & deserved to get the boot.

So far I like Erica, Gene & Kevin.
