'F.A.M.E.' came at a crucial point in Brown's career. When he was musically and personally fumbling, the album resurrected Brown to a level of quality music and respect in the industry. He successfully brought together elements of hip-hop, R&B, and dance music into the album to create the perfect sound. If this album says anything for what Chris's 2012 offer 'Fortune' will be like, then we're in good hands.
The Jay and Kanye project was probably one of the most buzzed about collaborations not only in the past year, but the past decade. Personally I wasn't caught up in any of the hype, but once the record dropped I was on it. Not that it should come as a complete shock to many, the two worked extremely well together on the project. They not only mesh well, but they bring new sounds and elements into their music. Props to Swizz Beatz, who produced one of the better songs on the record, 'Welcome to the Jungle.' Unlike some other releases this year, this record actually kept to its word of its promising high standards. The album will also keep the commercial and critical success rolling in for several months to come.
