Age has nothing to do with who runs the relationship. Jay is enamored by her and knows he could never find better. He worships her.

Besides, they've been together for so long that this point they probably know each other as well as they know themselves. I'm sure they both have the biggest say in each other's careers when it comes down to it.

How is that the same? Camille is a woman too. For your point to be valid she'd have to be a man speaking over a woman in an issue that concerns women.

She's a cultural commentator and a scholar, speaking about matters like this is her life's work. She's very much in a position to speak about whether or not a popular figure in entertainment is a feminist.

Perhaps it would be better if you stopped thinking all white feminists are a homogenous mass. Camille has been very much pitted against her fellow white feminists for most of her career, and when it comes to black women, has recently praised Rihanna's raunchiest work:
