Alcohol is legal and is way more harmful to you, no one has ever died from cannabis use! were as millions die each year because of cigarettes + more than 80% of my school year group now smoke it, the government lost the war on it years ago. I think ban is due to the companies making cigarettes and alcohol as they might loose their sales if there i s a better legal alternative to them and the one that is less harmful . There have been several instances where private companies put pressure on government

Honestly governments make shitloads of money from tax on cigarettes and alcohol so i don't see why they should just legalise weed

people can argue about how it might have an effect on the health services but honestly alcohol will always be more of a drain on policing and hospitals
