I don't think she has the rights to those songs, therefore she can't release them. It think that's the case for S.L.A.Y. and I Wanna Call You. She should have took the Azealia Banks route and have the rights to the songs and then license out the publishing rights to EPIC and Kemosabe but, eh. At least she managed to get out of a record contract, that can be hard.

I know people have said that Oliver "Calvin Harris'd" her, but since she has writing credit on all the songs they did together, I don't know how that would work.

I have no idea. I assume it must be Epic since Bonnie seems to have quite a good relationship with Kemosabe, but then again Luke and Kemosabe are barely letting their own artists music be released. So it's up in the air.

I think Rita's probelm was that all the Calvin Harris produced material was only produced and written by Calvin so whatever was planned couldn't happen unless Calvin signed off on it. Although, I think Rita is allowed to distribute the song in anyway she wants because the label owns the rights to that or something. Basically, Rita has no creative input but Bonnie did so she would have more freedom in that respect. It has to be either Kemosabe or Epic.

She could have the rights to the song (lyrics) but Epic probably has the rights to the actual recordings. 2 very different things.

Kinda bummed that it's only 4 songs. Hopefully an album will follow regardless of whether the EP makes a smash or not. But this could be her 'Title (EP)' and Bombastic could be her "All About That Bass".
