In 24 short hours, these Tributes will enter the ATRL Arena, where before our very eyes, they will fight until only one is left standing.

For now, these Tributes are hard at work in the Training Centre perfecting their strategies and forming alliances.

INFO ON ALLIANCE FORMATION

At this stage in the game, your job is choose your alliance. Previous seasons have seen a variety of alliance formation (season 1 saw 2 large alliances, season 2 saw 2 bigger alliances and 1 underdog alliance). What will happen this time? We'll have to wait and see. Here's what you need to know:

- this game has a STRICT "No PMing" rule. Trust us on this. All alliance formation (joining alliances, leaving alliances, changing alliances) must happen here in this thread. Once alliances are set, I will open up the private forums in which you and your alliance partners receive a password protected area to discuss your plans. All conversation must happen either in this thread, or your alliance forum. Please respect the no PM rule...it does make the game A LOT more fun, especially at the end when we open the private forums and expose all of y'all!

- you are not required to work with your district partner (although some of you may choose that!). It's simply just part of the Hunger Games theme. You may choose to form an alliance with who you want - as many or as little players can be in an alliance, and they can come from any district. It's not recommended, but if you desire, you could also work alone! Think long and hard about your strategy, while large alliances may provide safety at the start of the game, they can always crumble as the games progress...we've also seen small and mighty alliances end up running this game! Think wisely!

- Alliance Formation begins now. In 24 hours, I will check the thread and see what alliances have formed (as you form alliances, please list members and also give your group a name!). At that point, I'll message alliance members with the private forum password for the alliance they are in. If alliances change (which is allowed), your password will also change, so that only current alliance members can access the private planning forums.

Please read the above information carefully. I am trying to make this game as straight forward as possible (I swear it's simpler than some of y'all think it is!) but PLEASE ask me any questions you may have. I want everyone to know what's going on.

Yes, starting NOW, no PMs are allowed. I'll let anything prior to now slide since some of y'all may not have been aware, but from this point forward PMs are punishable by instant death in the arena!

Like I said, all of y'all need to trust the no PM rule. It makes the game so much better.
