"So Far Away," "Grins" and "Spoons" are pretty much the ones I like the most. The first one sounds quite timeless.

Also the "You're The One (Odd Future's The Internet ft. Mike G Remix)" premiered today is cool, along with the visual that was done for it.

I'm so pumped for the album.

I actually made a comment about her songwriting in a recent thread. She constantly repeats words as well, if you haven't already noticed. I agree that she can come up with better, but I also like the song.

Should we do a little rate with all of her current songs? (minus her old songs)

Yeah, I made a thread for it! It was filmed by her boyfriend/the guy that did the Nuclear Seasons video. It's grown on me!

Another update: The album will have 10 or 12 tracks. We've already heard the studio version of 3 songs and we've heard the live version of 5 songs.

I hope there isn't a pushback. Lots of magazines have been hyping it up and mentioning an October release date and it wouldn't be good to let all the hype go to waste.

It seems that the remix EP of You're The One is going to come out on September 3rd, which gives me hope that they'll actually try to make it as successful as possible (praying for a Top 40 hit

I'm just surprised that we haven't gotten much info, like a specific date or the album title.

Diana is releasing in 2012 still (apparently) She said later this year at a gig in Wales. Sky is too (also apparently haha).

I think the reason we don't have much information is because she's not on a major label. We'll probably get floods of news in the next month or so and it'll all come around so quickly, but October seems so far away.

You're right! I can confirm that the album is finished, since Charli herself said that it was in an interview and she had even said that she could wait to release the album but she doesn't because then it won't end up getting released on the same interview. I think we'll start getting more info after she releases the YTO EP in the UK!

I'm so ready for it, which is why October seems like a lifetime away. Don't get me wrong I love how she gives track by track every few months, but sometimes you need a full album to relish the greatness of someone.

Drove almost 2 hours to Pontiac MI to see her and the venue was empty and locked and a few other people came up and we were all just kind of standing around and then a guy that worked there came up and told us that she cancelled the show, then I looked at her twitter and she cancelled it 4 hours ago... Wtf Charli... Why didn't I at least get an email or something? I tweeted to her. I'm so disappointed.

Even though I wanted to wait for her album to come out to get into her music, I wanna go to another concert before I go back up to college and I might see her because it's at a good time, good place, and very good price. I'll have to see if I could get a friend to go with me or not though, I think that's my determining factor because I'd definitely see Charli.

I wish she at least gave the reason... I get the feeling she didn't sell enough tickets, but you'd think she'd cancel it sooner if that were the case. When I went to the venue it was like a ghost town. There were only like 10 other people total looking for her that came after my friend and I got there, and we got there 10 minutes late.

There was no email notification or anything on the venue's website that said the show was cancelled.. That's what pissed me off. Literally the only way to know would be to have twitter.

I saw your post after I posted. Sorry that you had to deal with that huge annoyance.

I'll have to make sure to check Twitter repeatedly that day. If she cancelled the day of, there'd be no way it'd be low ticket sales... so I wonder what it was. Either way, I'm sorry that happened to you and hopefully you get to see her another time.
