Bionic was all over the place. It was not cohesive at all.

She was trying to be "diverse" by putting a bunch of sounds together (dance-pop, alternative, MOR, R&B, etc.) all into one album and it just sounded like a damn mix CD of random songs and not an album.

Agreed.

If the album had been divided up into several albums (an R&B themed album, an alternative themed album, a generic [Ester Dean] themed album, etc.), it could have worked. But I still feel like her label forced some of the more mainstream songs onto the album.

I loved and still love NMT but I guess it is a little bit uncommercial as a lead single. It is catchy but you can't really sing along to it and it has a dark club feel to it which is great but probably not for everybody.

Thats just going over the line, but i wont discredit Christina on anything though, You Lost Me was amazing, i just don't feel Woohoo. Bionic is a flawless album from start to finish. It wasn't "all over the place" - there was a clear divide & a transition from the electronic, party-bangers, to the more sexy, mellow & organic tracks. It's the whole concept of Bionic, human & machine parts meshed together.

Not Myself Tonight is a great song, just not first single material... It's hook wasn't catchy enough & it lacked a proper chorus.

I think the video hurt the song a lot, It was just too in your face with its sexual content.

Vanity and I Hate Boys are the worst songs on the album, followed closely by Prima Donna. Trash that is absolutely beneath her.

It really was her label that ****ed up the album, and Ladytron clocked the tea on that (they didn't even include the Goldfrapp music).
