I was trying hard to find another song that represent her better because i know everyone will pick this. I Wanna Dance With Somebody? I'm Ever Woman? Greatest Love of All? I Have Nothing? One Moment in Time? All iconic. But there's just no denying that IWALY is one of the most defining songs of all time.
Shakira- Hips Don't Lie: Her biggest hit and it was MASSIVE WW. It basically Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You: Simply one of the best ballads of all time. Hilary Duff - Come Clean: Everyone knows this song from their childhood, and it kind of defined her music career.
Shakira- Hips Don't Lie: Her biggest hit Whitney Houston - I Will Always Love You: i just AMAZING Hilary Duff - Come Clean: This song is so ****ing AWESOME, No song of Disney's better than this song!
Whenever wherever by shakira, i think it had a really big impacty
I will always love you and o don't think you have to elaborate why.
from hilaria the only song i know is reach out and that's because of the Personal Jesus sample. so
Hmm, If You Had My Love, Ain't It Funy or Wating For Tonight?
Tough one with Britney Spears. Hard to choose between Toxic, Baby One More Time or I'm a Slave 4 U?
Finally Nelly, Turn off the Lights or Say It Right?
Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From the Block
-It's kind of her theme song. All her other hits aren't as "memorable."
Britney Spears - Toxic
- Close call with this and ...Baby One More Time, but Toxic redefined Britney. Plus, it's more critically acclaimed, and a better song by miles.
Nelly Furtado - Promiscuous
-Obviously her most well known song.
Jenny from the block, this song comes to my head anytime she's named.
from britney i go with I'm a slave 4 U. Is hard to chose between all the hits and iconic song she's got tho.
From nelly i go with say it right. it was a big hit and it has nelly written all over it.
Adele - Rolling In The Deep :
For starters, it's the best song out of her album, not the best song of her carer since I will argue that "Chasing Pavements" for example is better but it was not nearly as big as RITD. And I think it represents the singer well, it's a heartfelt ballad about a lost love and that's just how we see here.
Beyoncé - Crazy In Love :
I hate to pick this one because in my opinion it's not the best representation of her in her catalog but it's her most acclaimed and popular song (although some might argue SL was bigger). It has that weird/not conform structure that Bey loves so much (SMN, Bug A Boo, SL, RTW, CD and EOT) so in a way it represents her musical direction easily.
Florence - Dog Days Are Over :
Frankly I only chose this because it's her most popular song. I don't a lot about her discography to make the claim that it's her best song, represents her or her musical direction, so I'll just leave it at that.
Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From The Block.
This is probably her defining hit. Honorable mentions are If You Had My Love, Waiting For Tonight, Get Right, and On The Floor
Britney - ...Baby One More Time
Her first big hit.
Nelly Furtado - I'm Like A Bird
I don't know any other songs from her tbh
Jennifer Lopez - Jenny From The Block.
This is probably her defining hit. Honorable mentions are If You Had My Love, Waiting For Tonight, Get Right, and On The Floor
I'm seriously lost with Jlo as an artist and her career. I know OTF is her biggest hit when it comes to chart performance.
But I don't think it fully represents Jlo's career and herself as an artist.
Do you know any other Jlo fans? Bring them here to discuss. I need some help.
