A ton of albums stuggle to go gold in today's market, so getting there at all (no matter how quickly you do) is pretty big

Dude, Paramore is an alt' band, the fact they got those kind of sales is something that doesn't happen alot for those types of bands.

They do not got any type of hit from this album, nothing to make it sale this good and def' not 1m stupid screaming little girls and boys that can push them to 1m in a month or the hype of getting hit by a moving door.

I think that getting Gold is still an achievement to be excited about...didn't MARIAHS ALBUM NOT go gold? I mean come on, she's a legend, and that's a huge achievement for an indie-ish band to get compared to a legend like her.
