It's been a few days since I updated. I better get updated. Some of the songs will shock you.
#35:
Demi Lovato-Here We Go Again
It's the third of four tracks to chart on my Top 50. Here We Go Again showed that Demi was evolving. It was a step up from Get Back, the first single from Don't Forget. It's a song that I sometimes relate to and a song that I love. It debuted in June on My Weekly Top 30, reached the Top in August, and retired in November. But it's still charting on Radio Disney's Top 30 Countdown, although it's fallen to #23. It's her best charting single as a solo artist. I'm glad Demi is evolving.
#34:
Jonas Brothers f. Miley Cyrus-Before the Storm
As shocking as it is, I actually like this song. Miley brought me into it. Even more surprising is that it spent ALL 20 Weeks on my Weekly Top 30, peaking at #4 and retiring in November. Ironically, it's their worst charting single on Radio Disney as it was on the chart for only 5 weeks quickly peaking at #17 and falling off fast. It shocked me, because I thought a duet with JB and miley would have made it to the Top on Radio Disney. But I guess this was a sign that the Jonas Brothers are starting to demise.
Still, it's a good song, and it's the only one I like from JB.

Shakira-She Wolf
We have another shocker. She Wolf by Shakira. As you guys know, I'm not a Shakira fan. However this song just really grew on me. The beginning beat (the first few seconds) really got stuck in my head. So I started to like the song and it debuted on my Weekly Top 30 in August. But what REALLY got me into it was my High School's Luau Dance. They played it and I danced my ass off to it. After that, She Wolf became a favorite of mine. It peaked at #4 on my Weekly Top 30 retiring after 20 Weeks on December 18, 2009.
Her Latin accent and dance beats go well. And She Wolf did that perfectly. And the video is great too.
And I'm happy to say I'm liking Give It Up To Me as well. Who knows, Shakira might show up next year with Give It Up To Me. We'll just have to wait and see.
#32:
Mariah Carey-Obsessed
As with Jb and Shakira, I'm not a fan of Mariah Carey either. As you guys may know, I referred to her as ****ty Carey from time to time on the board. But this song just won me over with the bitchiness. It's badass, bitchy, and the video is by far very funny! This song peaked at #3 on my Weekly Top 30 and Retired after spending 20 Weeks in December.
I will never be a fan of Mariah, but as Obsessed shows, there's a a chance an artist will have a song that you like come out.
#31:
Esmee Denters-Outta Here
There's plenty of reasons why I love JT, and one of them is for discovering this next artist...Esmee Denters. Her song Outta Here first caught my attention in June. It debuted that month on my Weekly Top 30 but it fell off before July. Three months later, the song would be back on my Chart. Because believe it or not...RADIO DISNEY picked up the song, editing out her use of "damn". That resparked my interest and it re-entered and climbed up. It's currently at #6 on my Weekly Top 30, with one month to go before retiring. It's also peaked at #20 on Radio Disney's Top 30 Countdown as of this December 26, 2009.
Radio Disney and my Weekly 30 may not be much, but's it's a start for Esmee. I hope she makes more good music in the future.
Alright, guys 35-31 is revealed. Comment all you like.
