But you've had literally no "argument" beyond "because I said so"
Things may very well change if/when "Team" becomes a major hit, but until then, that's just the way it'll be, just the same way as the GP sees Carly as "that 'Call Me Maybe' girl," which admittedly, is true. What do you think the GP sees Lorde as, "that
Pure Heroine girl"?

Oh your "facts" are just as subjective as my opinions are so your argument is invalid You're basing your arguments on whether Carly had better promo...news flash she didnt. And to stick with what has happened she flopped after CMM. I'll count Good Times as 1/2 of a song since she did it with Owl City. Anyways Team is becoming a hit in the US and that people find Lorde interesting outside of her song "Royals" which is clearly seen on Itunes and Spotify. These are facts

I am aware Carly didn't have better promo. That was my point. But you've been holding them to the same standard commercially when the two albums weren't anywhere near in the same league in terms of promo. By the time
Kiss came out, the Carly hype had almost completely died down. These are also facts.
How people see Lorde now has nothing to do with whether they find her "interesting." Posting Spotify stats doesn't change anything, including the fact that, to this point, the majority of the GP only knows her as the girl behind "Royals."
