The Wannabee Songs (Part II)
-The following 10 songs never got the chance to shine or make a huge impact on my weekly countdown, either because I never gave them a chance, or the just got overshadowed by another single, but the following songs were all really deserving to be in the TOP 50
[In Alphabetical Order]
Just Like Fire, by P!nk
Aside from "Try", P!nk's last era was just meh for me, so I totally skipped this track. It was actually good (still very P!nk, but good)

The Great Divide, by Rebecca Black
If you'd ever had said I would actually like a Rebecca Black song before this year, I would say that you're crazy. This was actually a really good song for her and she sounded REALLY good. The music video was great as well
*
Dark Necessaties, by Red Hot Chili Peppers
Another track I love, but it just got overshadowed by so many others songs. Still love this band and the song, one of their best in recent years.
*
Cheap Thrills, by Sia
I always thought the song was just...ok. Didnt like that it was gonna be a single, but it totally just kept growing on me. Now I really like it and wish I would have given it more attention
*
Dont Touch My Hair, by Solange
Never have been a Solange fan. I dunno if its her style or what, but she never got to me. So after so many people hyping her new project I thought I'd (at the very least) give the singles a listen. Im in love with Cranes In The Sky, so much so, that I really ignored Dont Touch My Hair. I wish I could have gotten into it earlier as it is a solid song.
i agree with DN, its really good especially compared to some of their other recent stuff. but it fades in the BG with so many strong releases this year
