It isn't Nicki's job to go out and contact everyone spreading rumors about her in the biz. She's mad as hell, and is filming a docu-series called "My Truth." Of course she's gonna let out what's on her mind then and there. Do you really think she's gonna call up Barbara and say, "Hello, honty, just making sure you didn't slip in the bath. Oh yeah, and you know how you said I was gonna blow Mariah's brains out? That wasn't true, silly goose! You should've contacted me. But I'm sure you just forgot. Alzheimer's and all."

It isn't her job but it would have made the situation better because best believe, this isn't hurting Barbara. Not one bit. And with that attitude, people will continue to not take Nicki seriously.

Well, although I don't think Nicki is right for cussing a storm like girl you need to cut down on that and handle these kinds of situations better so you don't look bad I'm still on her side with some things.
Barbara should have contacted both of them for their sides of the stories it could have been better but oh well she didn't 
This just needs to be done with.

From what I gather, you think Nicki should have taken the high road, in spite of the fact that Barbara contributed to the type of passive gendered racism that Nicki is burdened with because she is visibly black (unlike Mariah who can pass for white) and female. Based on Nicki's statement " . . . because I'm a little black girl who raps" Nicki knows what time it is. So, she knows that Mariah benefits from white privilege and can pull that "distressed white damsel" bit and have Barbara Walters take her side because of it. So, given that, you think Nicki should have been more congenial with Barbara and not fed into the "angry black woman" stereotype that GP is going to run with.
I get what you're saying, I'm just not comfortable agreeing.
