Oh hm I never noticed this thread. Interesting responses so far. Let me answer each question even though I know I'll probably remain an elusive recluse and end up with fifty cats instead of a husband:
1. Even though I love consistency and symmetry in general I don't like the idea of having matching suits in my wedding because I feel like symbolically it'd almost be like I'm marrying myself.
2. I've pondered this before and I don't think there's really any need to change names. The whole practice is outdated and it causes a ton of unneeded hassle. Hyphenation is also a bit much because what if we had a kid and my kid wanted to marry someone who also has a hyphenated name? Almost every option is horrible; he would either have to pick a last name four goddamn last names long or pick one side of the hyphen (essentially showing favoritism toward one parent). I'd rather just keep things simple.
3. I decided awhile back that Teenage Dream will be played at my wedding. Idc if he hates Katy and that song is the bane of his existence. It's happening.
4. My parents would definitely come, as would my siblings. Some of my extended family probably wouldn't, though. I have a homophobic aunt and uncle.
