Discussion: Why can't Rihanna sell in the US like the UK?

People are quick to blame album sales & promotion but to me her promotion has been fine this era.. from AMA'S, late night shows etc.. I mean maybe people aren't really interested in buying her album but just her singles?

No matter which way you slice it, coming for Taylor isn't good to Rihanna. Even with Rihanna's appeal, she still can't sell half of what Tay does WW

don't come for Taylor because although I looooove Rihanna .. I drag for Taylor too .. bringing up Taylor you just sound pressed tbh .. she's a country artist whether you think majority of music sounds like pop or not .. she'll always be labeled as a country artist .. they tend to do wayy better in the US than other countries .. and Speak Now's sales are fine WW .. its doing better than Fearless did .. Taylor does not do dance music which is really popular WW ..

Excuse me, but you're talking a ********. Her tour did well in Europe. 4 UK dates from her upcoming tour were sold out in 1 day, and show in Norway was sold out in MINUTES. Bye, I'm not here for Beyonce stans lies

Yes. Flop. She cancelled like multiple tour dates do to poor sales. She did good at Madison square and Staples because they are the main arenas. Every mainstream artist will do well in those arenas. Its in these specific cities, where you find your true fans. And Rihanna and her people didn't see good ticket sales....so she cancelled.

Taylor will max out at 5x platinum in the US w/ re-release and will do close to nothing worldwide. Rihanna will sell over 5 million by same time next year and will continue to sell with a re-release. Taylor has never sold 9 million with one album.
To the Gaga fans. Gaga is talented but she will not do as well as her first album. No one really does these days. The hype dies down after while. (Wacky outfits are quite annoying)

Well that's because Rihanna puts out an album a year due to her sales not being able to linger like Gaga's for example. What other female artists puts out a new album as often as Rihanna?
Gaga has already done 10 million in less than half of the time it took for Rihanna to get those receipts.
