No. It's the music. People don't even pay enough attention to her for them to care about her personality or not. Most people have no idea who she is, so this notion that people can't relate to her or are turned off by her personality holds no water.
Her music has been targeted at the urban audience mostly. Her attempts at pop music are not good enough to get the attention of a large audience. She needs a hit. Then people will pay attention to her/ her personality.
