"Safe and Sound" keeps a STRONG lead over "Black Skinhead" this week (which was fueled by the recent music video). Skylar Grey makes an impressive début as old favorites such as "Monster" and "Beneath Your Beautiful" continue their lower half dominance. Capital Cities also continues to dominate as "Farrah Fawcett Hair" continues to rise (#6). Otis Redding also loses his 20% stake in the top 10 as "Sittin' On The Dock of the Bay" falls out of the top tier and into the top 20. The Beatles also maintain a 10% hold on the chart as "Hey Jude" exits and "Come Together" enters while "A Day in the Life" rests at #7.
Kanye West continues to do well on the chart with the #2 and #4 track. Perhaps the biggest news of all for this chart week, however, is the rise of "New Slaves" to the top 10. This marks every single song from
Yeezus reaching the top 10. Yeezus débuted at #11 on the first version of the chart behind the other 9 songs from the album and B.o.B's "Cloud 9" which exits the chart this week.
