Look at this poster from the Middle East thinking he's got some sort of white privilege
That doesn't extend to you my dear brother
Come to America and see how quickly you'll be detained at the airport

im all for preserving cultural heritage but locks simply DO NOT belong to any one race or culture. marc jacobs is a messy old queen and his comments were stupid but honestly he wasn't at fault in the first place and im over people over saturating the term "cultural appropriation". get a grip
Ok, what about the people getting mad about his comment about PoC straightening their hair? Because that's what most of us PoC were bothered about. Straight hair isn't exclusive to white people so his comparison made no sense, there was no correlation whatsoever
Neither are dreadlocks to black people but he was attacked for using them
Ok, honestly I'm not a sjw but who is laughing at sjws? Trumpsters? Because every respectable politician in the world IS a sjw.
The connotation that "sjw" carries in the context of the Tumblr-era trend is different from the literal meaning. Social justice has always been a thing ever since the Civil War and women's suffrage.

Tumblr is just a platform the youth uses to discuss, and like with every single issue its always the youth the ones saying hey this is not right.
Regarding to the topic do we all know there is still young black women who have to protest to have the right to wear their hair naturally to school?

If you mean natural like this, then, yes, the school is totally allowed to restrict you from coming to class with unkempt hair. However, I've never heard about girls with this kind of hair facing any problems from school administrators.

Just one of many cases of poc having to deal with things they shouldn't even be dealing.
