But Miguel and Frank Ocean are relatively mainstream. It's not like Jay is some super-commercial pop artist like Katy Perry.

I still don't understand why it wasn't released as an official single. It's a commercially appealing track and the subject matter would get people's attention.

with the right advertising this song is an easy top 10 billboard, decent mainstream music and video, all he has to do is ellen and jimmy kimmel, get a few celebs big in the pop market to tweet it like nicki minaj, once its been heard it will deffinetly take off, it has the spring/summer vibe to it, pauly d just dropped his video with jay for back to love, sean just signed a few groups to his entertainment company, official album date dropped, so there's definitely seans name circulating. so now he needs to ADVERTISE. biggest mistake was not giving the premiere to MTV, second was not paying VEVO to poster it, its only getting attention from janoskian fans right now, he needs to ADVER "EFFING" TISE. GAWD CASH MONEY SUM CHEAP MOFO'S.

Back to Love isn't doing well anywhere, but it's getting more attention because it's from Pauly D. He definitely needs to promote more, but I'm not sure it's worth it for this type of song. It's not that good. And I don't think Nicki or Drake actually care about him even though he likes pretending that they're friends so I doubt we'll see a tweet from them promoting the song.

I think the main problem is that Jay just doesn't have many loyal fans. It's mainly the South Asian diaspora that's interested in him and even that's a stretch. Most don't care about him or even belittle him and his music. Even you guys don't respond to any of the Jay threads on ATRL that people have made.

naa jay sean has a decent fanbase not massive but goood, 5mill plus on fb and 1mill plus on twitter, its just that his management are rubbish, and he doesn't stay current, such as talk shows and he never gets involved in these music events, regardless hes not dead yet, got plenty of life, he just needs one single to blow up to put him back on the map. im all yours was a massive track, if that had anyone but pitbull, like sean paul on it it would have done very well. pitbull is just washed out. so high was just abit tooo generic but still a good song. sex101 could have DEFO been top ten, it was just screaming drake but wayne could have even sorted it, tyga is in the same boat as sean if you ask me, and no1 comments on jay sean threads because there's not many on this site, on youtube with all the jay sean material i posted i have easily got over a 800.000 views. which is well more than if i posted them here, and him and nicki are quite close friends, if you watch the 2012 behind the scenes, i never mentioned drake coz i doubt them 2 have even met. where you are has massive potential, i recon this is gonna be the one to put him back, but he has to kill advertising now, before its too late

also obvious back to love is getting attention from paulys fbase, its his song duhhh, even though jay sean and ofm wrote and produced it,

1) Jay might have 5 million FB followers, but most of them clearly aren't real fans considering his music sales.

2) I'm All Yours was hardly "massive"... not even close. It went Top 5 in Australia, but that's it. You need to stop making up things.

3) Pitbull is hardly "washed out." Feel This Moment is shaping up to be a big hit and he's had numerous Top 20 hits recently including a #1. His album sales are not great, but they're amazing compared to Jay's. And if Pitbull is washed out, then what are Jay and Sean Paul? Neither have had hits in years. Even Jay has a more recent hit than Sean Paul. How could you say that Sean Paul would have been a better option than Pitbull? Are you serious?

4) No one comments on Jay on this site and most others because most people don't care about him. Even his fans (like you) don't.

5) 800K views combined views of your Jay Sean videos on Youtube is nothing.

5) You completely missed the point about Back To Love mainly getting attention from Pauly D's fanbase. It's only getting attention (not much) because it's Pauly D's track. No one even cares that Jay is on it except his few fans.

- i was talking about the sound of the track and the video its self, not the sales. if chris brown or usher put that same track out. it would have gone top 10 for sure.
