Like they actually hunt people as food when they see a human.

Do you see people rounding up zebras and handing them off to lions? no because that's not how it works, so until polar bears figure out a way to round us up and eat us they can kick rocks.

I don't want to turn this into a religious debate but there is literally 0 evidence of the existence of God and there are countless different religions, so your God doesn't apply to everyone else's God/lack of. Eating meat however is a universal thing regardless of religion.
Yes because they need meat to survive, humans do not.

Sis i get that you're vegan and therefore see people eating meat as bad or w/e but don't you think selfish is the wrong word? Who are you or I to judge what someone eats? You stay on your lane and eat what vegans eat, i'll remain a vegetarian and eat what i eat, meat eaters eat what they eat and we're all happy? What's the problem? Why call out meat eaters by calling them selfish?

Do you want a ribbon for eating vegetables? You're the worst vegan I've ever met. I know so many vegans who are sweet and don't bother me about it at all. I only ask them stuff, and they tell me. You're calling us "meat-eaters" selfish. I'm not sorry I have to save money to pay bills because the prices are outrageous in the US. I actually enjoy vegetables and when we can afford them, I eat them and I've asked if it's possible with our budget to be vegan (which I was told no). Do you know how hard it is to feed 3 fully grown adults on a $400 budget for food (with food stamps might I add!) a month? No, you don't. You live in Russia where's it probably easier to get vegetables (I don't have the patience to look up statistics.) I would suggest you learn people's stories before you judge any of us.

What you're doing here isn't nice, regardless of what you think about others' dietary habits and choices. You're in no way expecting to change anyone's mind, which leads me to believe you're only trying to shame people since you're responding to a lot of the posts that disagree with you.

Nnnn bye, I'm not a cannibal .
I'm wanting people to admit that eating meat is selfish, it's not a hard thing to do .

If anything is selfish, it's trying to get people to say what only you want to hear.

Of course it is, and you can see it even just in the ways a few people here are responding. Humans do not require meat to survive and thrive. However, the vast majority of us enjoy the taste of it, so we decided that our enjoyment is more important than the life of an animal. That wouldn't be an issue if these animals lacked sentience, as is the case with plants, but as it is, they are sentient and very clearly do not wish to die (as anyone who has seen films from inside factory farms or with any common sense will know). Thus, it is indeed selfish to take their lives, which they do not wish to lose, simply to please our palettes. But the fact is that the majority of people just don't care, which is extremely disheartening.

Meat eaters need to be called out. Literally all of their arguments are completely idiotic.
- "It's natural!"
- "Other animals do it!"
- "You're the one killing plants!"
- "We always did it, why should we stop now?!"
Society would not advance if backwards thinking was never called out.

I'll leave it at that.

Actually plants are alive and the do feel/respond to pain. Educate yourself.

I believe they are and nothings going to change that. I choose to eat meat, And yes it could be considered selfish by vegetarians and vegans. But the only reason you made this thread is to judge everyone that comments that they eat meat in this thread. Everyone does things that can be considered selfish. Even you. But making a holier than thou thread about meat eaters "selfishness" isn't going to do any good

I don't want anything . It's not about me getting anything or being praised, it's about meat eaters being honest.
Because it is a selfish-action. Who told you it wasn't possible with your budget? Because this whole fallacy of veganism being super expensive isn't really true. You can buy things in bulk like rice, pasta, couscous etc. which can be used in various meals, last for a long time and aren't super expensive. Some vegetables are expensive I get that, but a little goes a long way and you can use those vegetables for various different dishes. You can also look for deals/discounts and maybe even buy tinned alternatives if they cost less. Meat can be pretty expensive too you know.
Well I'm sorry about that but I wasn't making fun of your financial situation or anything like that, I would never do something like that. I don't judge people based on how much money they have.
