I like this answer and I have a lot of respect for Britney for staying relevant this long but a Legend has to do more than just be relevant no?
Like what? she has the iconic performances, the iconic videos, 6 no 1 albums, 12 top 10 hits, 5 no 1 hits. 100 million records sold worldwide and she is not even 30. Praise from fellow legends, grammy award, video of the year awards, video vanguard. What else does she have to prove?

She could actually sing at one point though so either way she would have gotten it.
I stan for her because I love her ass. I know she doesn't perform like she used to and I would deluded to ever think she'll ever have that exact same spark again. Since, she's had 2 kids, a breakdown, a broken knee, a highly publicized breakup and divorce.
But, onto why I still stan, because she's just that bitch for me. Like, I couldn't imagine stanning for anybody else. Even when her ass used to zombie walk across a stage with a blank stare. Her music just gives me that thing called life. Her other major accomplishments like being one of the best sellers of the 00's, getting the vanguard award, getting multiple #1 albums, breaking records etc. are just icing on the already perfect cake for me. And, you tried it with that '01 shade, because that was far from her peak.
