What's the big deal? The song had zero promo to aid it in the charts, yet it went on to sell more than 2 million copies and still got the top spot. Your shad is too transparent.
foxay, it went 2x platinum. A number one single by a certain artist that spent five weeks at number one and was her biggest radio hit at the same time only went 2x platinum as well.
and then it went to spend another three additional weeks in the top sixteen.

The radio support of "3" was strictly Pop and the driving life support behind the song, it was bound to tank without the support of other formats and more promotion.
