No lies told, Bey has been doing this sound since DC with Soldier and as a solo artist with Diva etc. You would have to be a delusional stan not to see she was the first to do it. Billboard didn't lie!

She hasn't said that in a while though, mostly during the first era of her career but anyone with eyes can see that Rihanna is different and completely opposite to Beyonce. Whereas Bey tries to materialize perfection, Rihanna embraces her imperfections. They are completely different personas and anyone who has listened to BBHMM and thinks it bares any similarities to ***flawless better get their ears checked.
