High school students. JoJo is relatively unknown to the current face of the populous that currently is holding the music industry at its mercy--the digital singles market.
Well she hasn't had any promo in 5 years. That's half a decade. But she still has fans, such as myself, her followers, the owners of her fansites, and many others, who are still waiting and watching. Also when she comes back properly, she will gain another audience of people and people will remember. NOT saying that all of them will buy her material, but she will have some relevancy in their minds. I still am able to find her songs in many of my friend's iPod's and I hear people randomly saying 'Leave (Get Out)'.
Didn't even cross my mind, lol. I understand, honestly.

Definitely, and I think that's the reason why her rise to relevancy will be so difficult. I mean, the girl was popular as all get out with her singles, and I honestly don't know why they haven't tried to push her until now. I mean, I guess there is always the potential for someone to have the comeback to success, but it is often times difficult without a HUGE promotional push...or RedOne.

Well nothing has started yet. She hasn't even announced her first single. she has support from all the blogs. Every time something leaks, the blogs have her back. I feel bad because she's been talking about this album since 2008 and now finally in 2011 something is moving. She said her first single is upbeat so I hope that helps. She's been working with Darkchild (Telephone) and Danja (Britney's Blackout) so I'm just hoping she gives us something to remember and reminds us why she was so huge 2004-2006.
By the time JoJo is allowed to release her album, she'll be in her mid-30s trying to push an album she recorded when she was 16. It ain't gonna happen.

I laughed, I feel horrible. BUT atleast you understand she has no control and that her label did this to her, this isn't just happening because she isn't a good enough artist.

(this was in 2008)
Well, I guess hoping for the best with the response from the general public is all anyone can do. Did she promo her mixtape on her Twitter? Or like on a major platform?
Jennifer will be ok. On TV three/four nights a week on America's most watched television show where she can premiere her songs, music videos and secure performance slots other artists dream of. If Cheryl Cole can do it, I don't see why Jennifer can't.

She released it through Rap-Up. Rap-Up, as you may know, is known as the urban bible. One of the biggest music blogs around. She also has 29 #TeamJoJo twitter members from all over the world backing her up who helped her promote it. She also promoted it through her Twitter.

!!!
She could have been huge by now if it weren't for her label problems.
