Are there not mentally ill people here as well? While it's not impossible for people to get guns illegally here, stricter gun laws WILL help. Most of these shootings only happened because of how easy it is to get a gun in the U.S.

Not for private sales or gun shows though. I think there should be one for any gun sale. Of course this won't fix everything but it will at least help keep guns away from the some people who shouldn't have them.

Many Americans have guns, and not all of them are shooting people. Many people who go hunting have guns and not all of them are shooting people.

In every case it's the person that has a mental issue that needs to be taken care off. Also it's the amount of attention these killers get from the media that make them into celebrities.

If they can't get their guns legally they'll get them illegally. What's stopping them from making bombs at home too?

We can ban guns all we want but thats brushing aside the bigger issue.

America has a culture of violence, lack of funding for mental health, and a media that makes mass murderers into celebrities. Let's fix that first shall we? Because other countries have guns legally and they don't have these issues.

I agree with that, how many of the recent mass shooters went a gun show and bought their's. Most of them just went to a store.
