Actually 5 singles is normal these days with sales so....yeah. plus looking at the fact that "Maneater" underperformed, when it should've at least been a top 10 hit, then "AGT" flopped, when again it was top 10 potential. if those were hits and helped the album sell like the 1st and 3rd single, she would be selling around what Fergie's is or more and she wouldn't have to ***** more. if you are speaking as far as releasing so many singles worldwide, she's smart. certain type of songs do better in other countries, ex. Madonna's dance music, dance is way more popular internationally than in the U.s. so.

Totally agree! "Loose" is one of those albums that can please many different audiences...culturally different people. Nelly Furtado is a Portuguese-Canadian singer... she can speak Portuguese and English...she can sing also in Spanish (because Spanish and Portuguese are similar languages)... She has this potential to get closer to different people...and she has the insight to understand what the americans, the europeans and the south-americans like... That's star quality! That's something kinda rare in showbusiness...
