Abandoning socialism would alleviate the problems mentioned in the article. I don't know why you're bringing up "other issues" (e.g. treatment of indigenous peoples) when the article is about Venezuela's
economic conditions, which were caused by the government's monetary policy.
I can't name a capitalist country without poverty, which is fine, because capitalism isn't founded on creating some utopian, classless society; socialism, on the other hand, is. Now, tell me, which socialist countries do you consider successes?
