I don't believe she cheated. I don't think there has ever been any conclusive evidence. Just speculation. Britney herself even said in a Rolling Stone interview that Justin wanted to get back together with her at some point but she didn't want that.... I doubt he would have wanted to reconcile if she cheated.
But the difference would be that Britney exploited the relationship in a tasteful manner. Her song is a an apology, essentially. Justin went the route of classless tell-all.
In any event, neither of them is innocent. We Brit fans shouldn't villainize Justin too much.
But we should make it known that one is clearly
more villainous and classless than the other.
Imagine if they actually collaborated like timbaland wanted them to in 2007. Justin was down for it, but britney wasn't.
Because Britney has good taste in music. Collaborating with Timberlake
and Timbaland would have sounded dated and would have been a
step backward, not forward. That's why she is the Queen of Pop.
no one was talking about the entire album (which was filled with Micheal Jackson rejects from 01 anyway) we were talking about his first single. Like I Love You, which Justin even admitted he didn't like.
And even if it was about him it was just one song. While Justin is probably doing What Goes Around... Part V while we speak. He needs to get over it. Britney doesn't use him since too many years already while he speaks about her everytime he can
He had every right to vent his feelings in his music, but disrespecting her in interviews by talking about their sex life was just wrong.
He could vent, but him calling her acting like he was just checking up on her, and then dropping in the fact that her lookalike would appear in his video was just tacky and tasteless.
