in this case why would you say that they are all 10x bigger than P!nk (which is untrue) and not even specify that you were talking about the US? Sometimes people are acting like the US is the only place where sales matter, when combined Europe+Australia is a much bigger market. So, I'd prefer if my favorite artist were huge in those other territories rather than in the US and not the other way around. even though I live in the US.

She's Pop/Rock, and that's being nice, since her stuff, especially her singles, consists of Pop songs. Pink may be more of a 'rock' singer than people like Avril Lavigne, but that still doesn't change the fact that she is POP.
