It's currently higher in the New Zealand iTunes charts than Diamonds. Our 2 top radio stations play it. If it's single she better add it to the tour set
I heard this song multiple times used in TV snippets or wherever, ever since the album came out.
This is probably the best single choice for summer after al the ballads. Pour It Up isn't doing much any more
Some of y'all forgetting RN has acclaim. It was frequently referred to as a standout track in album reviews. Plus David will give it good international presence and promotion, especially as he is a Universal Music Group artist now.
It's not that hard to standout as the only generic dance song on an album full of urban songs and ballads
But hopefully she smashes with this ( she probably will ... i mean she's the queen )
California Gurls was big all over the world, but in no way did it overshadow Love the Way You Lie.
California Gurls was infact the biggest-selling song in the world in 2010 wasn't it? Although that was partly because the song was big in Asia, I'm pretty sure LTWYL sold more in Europe, it certainly did in the UK.
RIHANNA DAILY (The official Rihanna fansite with EXCLUSIVE news, since they are DIRECTLY in contact with roc nation and def jam just hinted via Twitter that THIS IS INDEED TRUE!) https://twitter.com/RihannaDaily/sta...74966796423168

According to MT CG was the biggest song of 2010... But accordng to IFPI CG only sold like 6m (I don't remember) Tik Tok was #1, but that came in January.. LTWYL was #2.
That's exactly what I think. With a lot of artists moving on and trying new and riskier things now, it'd be a shame for Rihanna to release this 2008-esque song. No shade, but this is why Ke$ha suffered imo, and now Rihanna is doing the same. I hope her label don't release this.
