Chimpanzee meat is commonly sold in markets in central African towns and cities. Chimpanzee's also happen to have their species version of HIV called SIV. Chimpanzees also happen to eat several different types of smaller monkeys whom possess their own distinct strain of the SIV virus. These two differing strains recombined forming a new virus that was strong enough to evade the human immune system becoming known as HIV. This would have happened regardless of whether Europeans entered the region or not. The spread still would have happened and HIV would still be present today. (Even scarier to think the epidemic could have occurred in the 2000's rather than the 1980's)

So educate yourself please.

Like I clearly explained, the first transmissions of HIV to humans is surmised to be the transmission of blood from chimpanzees to hunters. Whether it be from an open wound or eating undercooked meat there are a litany of possible ways humans contracted this.
